I just don’t feel like “me” if I don’t have a bronzed glow on my face. It’s all out of a bottle for me, 3 or 4 bottles actually.
I suffer with spots & blocked pores quite badly so I have to be super careful what I put on my face. Anything oil based is a big no no, anything with a guide colour is also a no as it just sits in my pores & anything that is just going to stick to my dry patches also isn’t ideal. These problems sound familiar in your world of face tanning? I have some recommendations your face will thank me for.
First up, James Reed 1 Hour Face & Body Mask. A fragrance-free formula infused with aloe vera, hyaluronic acid and jojoba seed oil. What I love about this is the fact it doesn’t need to sit on your face all day or over night. You can pop it on for the evening and then resume your usual skin routine before bed, therefore minimising any form of break out from the product (in my opinion).
To top up my face tan during the week I use the Isle Of Paradise Tanning water spray in shade dark. This is much more light weight than the James Reed mask, its just the perfect top up. I use a spray on my kabuki brush and buff this into my face. It sits perfectly under makeup too.
I also have a few products in my makeup bag which I swear by for finishing off that sun kissed look. Firstly the By Terry Cellularose Serum in shade Sunny Flash. I love using any bronzing products that aren’t powder because it stays dewy which in my opinion looks much more natural.
Lastly, I have used the Tan de Chanel for years & it is by far my favourite bronzer. I just use a big fluffy bronzer brush to buff this into my face. Bronzer hack: Draw a 3 on the side of your face.
